It is long over due that I set the record straight on the false statements being circulated by John Watson, about Dr. Devra West-Surya Ma and her son Chris Haywood. As part of my AA recovery, I need to come clean about the mistakes that I made during the 2007 spring and summer months, due to the severity of my drinking problem and my willingness to cooperate with John Watson’s scam.

Basically, I got involved with the sleazy character, John Watson, who has orchestrated an extortion scam to force my mother-in-law, Devra West into a bogus financial settlement to shut him up. At the time, I was angry that my husband and his mother Devra Surya Ma were putting their foot down about my drinking. I did not know that Watson would lie about every statement that I made to him or that I would end up being a pawn in his game. His goal has been to trash Devra’s reputation in the local press and then use it on the Internet. After stealing her entire database, he has proceeded to accuse her of everything under the sun. His M.O. and game plan has been to generate a massive amount of gossip by faking statements from people and twisting something out of nothing until it finally sticks. He literally takes things out of thin air and makes a negative, defaming story out of it that has no truth to it what so ever.

He lies to people to entrap them into his scam. He also sets people up with the promise of a pay off or he pays them out right for lying. His sole ambition to gouge her for bucks. I know for a fact that several other individuals are involved. It is an out right conspiracy, no question about it. Watson’s accomplices know he is lying. They are all after her money. His whole psycho website is part of his plan to set up Devra, my husband Chris and the rest of her family to look like a bunch of deviant weirdos. It’s all a pile of nasty bull to make the scam work. When Devra’s father died last winter, they all went nuts because they thought there was a big inheritance coming down the pike.

Watson spoke with me on numerous occasions while I was drinking myself into the ground, to convince me to publicly ridicule and entrap Chris, to get at Devra. He offered me money. Because I was not in my right mind and I needed to feed my addiction, I also met with the group of people that he has bribed with the promise of a payoff. The plan that they discussed with me was to set Devra Surya Ma up by making up a bunch of false accusations. Watson told us to go to the press and to the police with crazy stories. He coached the whole thing, every inch of the way. Rebecca West, Pat Cole, Mark Young, Carly Finch and others were all in on it. Basically, he was just using them to do his dirty work. He came up with the idea for the phony photos taken of Pat and the bogus claim that Pat made to the police that Devra assaulted her, which is also pure bunk. Pat lied to cover up embezzling and misappropriating over 1.3 million dollars from Devra’s bank accounts.

Mark Young told me that Watson paid him to lie, make threatening phone calls to Devra’s employees, call the police with fake claims and spy on the family’s every move so that Watson could have tid-bits that he could spin stories out of. Watson also told Rebecca to steal documents from Dr. West’s office. It was his idea for Rebecca to do the scam with lying to the unemployment agency. All of us met on numerous occasions; usually Dell’s Bar in Somers, to work out how one story would set up the next one. Kendall Starnd and her mother Sarah Lampe are also in on it, because Kendall owes Chris quite allot of back child support and legal fees. That is why Kendall and Sarah Lampe have called Social Services around the clock for months slandering Devra and her son. Watson coached them to do it as part of the scam.

In addition to going to the police and calling the newspapers, we also wrote nasty letters about Devra to the state unemployment agency, because if Rebecca was able to get away with it, we all could do the same. In fact, Mark Young wrote the letter that Rebecca said was from me. I never even saw it and never signed it, but she submitted it anyway saying that it was from me. Watson convinced every one that big money from a harassment suit against Devra’s company would be a piece of cake. John Watson also told me that he would pay my legal bills if I went along with it. At the time, I was at the worst point of my drinking and gambling. I wanted the easy out so that I could keep feeding my addictions. I deeply regret going along with him even to a small degree. If it wasn’t for Chris and his mother Devra finally getting me in rehab, I’d be a lost cause. She had offered to help me time and time again. My auto accident was my wake up call.

I know for a fact that John Watson’s sicko web site is nothing more than a pile of mean, dirty bull designed solely to pull off the scam. I now know that he in fact is a really sick man. He lied about what I said and he rewrote my letters to him to suit what he wanted. He refused to take “Jamie Speaks” off his website, a pile of bunk that he wrote, not me. He does this to everybody. Now he refuses to take my call and hangs up on me. It amounts to extortion and black mail, however the whole mess has been turned over to Devra’s attorney, who is pursuing both criminal and civil lawsuits. The unemployment agency denied Rebecca’s claim because they could tell that her flimsy story was bull.

My mother-in-law has never been a cult leader of any kind. That idea is just plain stupid if you knew her. She has hundreds of letters from people who have protested what John Watson is doing. Actually, Devra has been nothing but supportive to me and I should be lucky to have someone so forgiving and wise as she is in my life. I am now committed to ongoing recovery to the 12-step program of AA. Coming clean about the mess that I created is part of my healing process. Thanks to John Watson and my own stupidity, I really went down the wrong road. Thanks to all the people who have helped me with my recovery, I am ready to fly right and live a decent life. I am now committing myself to the 12-step program and to becoming the wife and mother that I truly want to be.
