Dear Rick, I think it prudent to keep you updated on the illegitimate attempt to defame Dr. Devra West-Surya Ma. Regarding Rebecca West's unemployment claim, which you featured in sympathetic light; please be informed that she lost her second appeal. She lost because she lied like a rug to state officials. She received sick-leave pay from the generosity of Dr. West, while also collecting unemployment benefits for the same time period. Rebecca was also over-paid by our company $1,557 due to a "clerical error?" Not a bad scam for putting thousands of undeserved dollars in her pocket. The articles that you wrote which Rebecca submitted to state agencies as her "evidence" didn't do her any good. At least someone can tell a fraudulent farce when they see one. You have played a perpetrating role in a vicious scam on an innocent victim. John Watson, Pat Cole and the suddenly disgruntled employees who joined in on the gang-bang to cash-in on Dr. West's "alleged" inheritance, will each and every one be brought to justice. Like Rebecca, Pat Cole will be proven to be a liar and a scam artist. The platform that you gave these people is flat-out unethical, especially the insinuation that their meetings with the IRS had any legitimate basis, other than the tax issues that fall squarely in Pat Coles camp and no one else's. Stand corrected that you named the nonprofits that Pat Cole ran into the ground as businesses belonging to Dr. West, which makes your degrading account of the status of Dr. Wests businesses grossly incorrect. Bottom line, you framed your "sources" as credible when in fact they were not. After refusing to acknowledge the real issues at hand, you orchestrated nothing less than aiding an extortion scam, in addition to printing religious prejudice in ridiculing Dr. West as a "self-described guru, who talks to dead masters," which according to you automatically makes her degenerate and suspect. Gee, how many Christians talk/pray to Jesus who has been dead for 2007 years? How many Moslems talk/pray to Mohammed? How many Buddhists talk/pray to Buddha? How many indigenous tribes talk/pray to their ancestors? Would you be so bold as to disparage their religious practices? Or do you reserve that treatment solely for Dr. West, who happens to be an internationally respected meditation teacher, when over 140 million people in the U.S meditate. Religious persecution is against the law. Extortion is against the law. Lying to government officials is against the law. I am wondering at what point you will set the record straight and offer Dr. West the huge apology that she deserves? As each of the scam artists are brought to justice, will your retractions and apologies also rate front-page coverage? Am I angry? Given Dr. Wests ability to bring her much applauded wisdom, as well as considerable economic benefit to the community through her projects in health and healing, what can I say? What is wrong is just plain wrong. Very Respectfully,
